In keeping with the findings that healthy behaviors are good for you because they impact your telomeres, we now add sleep to the list of such behaviors that includes exercise, Mediterranean Diet, and meditation:

I personally can’t function without 8 1/2 hours of sleep. And for most people, that isn’t even possible.  I believe my ability to sleep is both the cause and the result of growing younger with adaptogens.  The loss of neuroplasticity is associated with poor sleep as people age as shown in this study:
